With the 33rd overall pick in this year’s NHL Draft, the Detroit Red Wings added Swedish forward Jonatan Berggren to their organization. It’ll be some time before we see him in the league, but we can certainly see what the Red Wings like about him.
Playing for Skellefteå AIK in Europe’s Champions Hockey League, Berggren dangled the dear life out of some poor defender. Nutmeg alert!
Filthy. We’ve seen nutmegs in other sports, more commonly in soccer annd basketball, but the hockey nutmeg is something to truly appreciate.
That said, though, we have a special place in our heart for this nutmegging dog.
