Some fans are absolutely ruthless and the football world was reminded of that fact after Richard Sherman signed with the 49ers after being released by the Seahawks.

Most fans were happy for Sherman and wished him well, but some were upset for no apparent reason and even burned his jersey.

On Monday, Sherman responded to those upset fans on Twitter and put things in a way everyone can relate to and understand in regards to why he decided to sign with San Francisco.

Remember, Sherman never wanted to leave Seattle.  He never asked for a trade or to be released so he could go elsewhere.

The Seahawks decided to release Sherman and another team offered him something few teams could, a chance to face Seattle twice.

It's understandable if you're upset Sherman won't be playing for the Seahawks anymore, but it makes no sense to be mad at him for signing with the 49ers.

We wish Sherman the best of luck in his new destination and we hope he recovers fully from his injury so he can get back on the field and ball out for his new team.
