Last week, the Seahawks received a message from the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center on Twitter and Sherman was quick to respond.
With the Seattle Seahawks on their bye week last week, the four-time Pro Bowler made a special visit to the young fan after he found out she lost her beloved Shermie doll.
After Sherman got the news that Ellie had recently lost her favourite Shermie doll, the Super Bowl 48 champion used one of his off days to drive all the way to Tacoma, Washington, so he could make a personal delivery to young Ellie.
It looked like it was a fantastic day for both Richard and Ellie and they shared some special moments neither one of them will ever forget.
