A lot of football fans were expecting Rob Gronkowski to call off his retirement and return to the New England Patriots at some point last season, but that moment never came.
Now, with the NFL’s free agent market set to open up in one week, it’s looking like Gronk might be done with the retired life, but don’t expect to see him on a football field in full equipment.
According to multiple reports, the WWE is close to finalizing a contract with Rob Gronkowski that would make the three-time Super Bowl champion a professional wrestler.
We’ve already seen a little glimpse of what Gronk is capable of inside the squared circle, but we don’t expect him to be a full-time star on a nightly basis.
