The NHL season is over, but Wednesday hockey fans were treated to some exciting news as the NHL announced the home openers for every team.

Every team took to Twitter individually to announce who they'd be facing for their first home game of the 2018/19 season and some teams, like the Florida Panthers, made the announcement in a unique way.

We're not sure why the Panthers went with the image they did and neither were the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team the Panthers face in their home opener.

They're definitely playing the Panthers, not the dinosaurs, but Roberto Luongo saw the exchange between the two teams and confirmed that one player is actually a dinosaur.

Is Luongo calling himself a dinosaur because he's 39-years-old and still playing? It sure seems like that and that's why Luongo is a national treasure that should be cherished forever and ever.

The elite tweeter and goalie will have the opportunity to remind the Blue Jackets he hasn't changed on opening night and he'll have another chance to be in the mix for the playoffs with a talented roster in front of him.
