It’s always a big deal when Team Canada and Team USA meet in any type of hockey tournament. Whether it’s an exhibition game or the gold medal game at the Winter Olympics, you know just about all of North America is tuning into the game.
Of course, the Canadians and Americans met in the gold medal final at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and just about every Canadian athlete was in attendance for the game, especially Scott Moir.
Considering Moir is a fan favourite across Canada, you can bet the nation rallied behind him.
It’s safe to say that Scott Moir was just speaking for all of Canada during that one and throughout the game.
