American Gladiators was a competition TV show that put amateur athletes up against each other in contests of strength and agility.

It was a big hit for nearly seven years as it aired weekly from September 1989 to May 1996, and was picked up again in 2008 for two seasons, and now it looks like the series is set to make a second comeback.

According to Deadline Hollywood there’s already a revival of American Gladiators in the works and the project is led by Canadian actor, writer and director Seth Rogen and Canadian screenwriter, producer and director Evan Goldberg.

The duo have worked together on countless projects including Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express and This Is The End, to name a few, and they’re working hard on making the American Gladiators revival their next successful project.
