We all know at least one person who takes everything way too seriously no matter what they’re doing, but none of them compare to the Virginia man who gave ‘sore loser’ a whole new meaning.
In a recent pick-up basketball game in a Virginia gym, one of the players ended up on the wrong side of a hard screen. Instead of taking care of the issue on the court and getting the ball back or going to the free throw line, he decided to call the local authorities to have them take care of the issue.
Here’s a breakdown of how it all escalated from him getting screened to walking out and calling the police.
We’re still in shock that someone actually went to the front desk to call the cops on someone for a hard screen in a pick-up basketball game. It was revealed later by one of the cops who showed up that the call was for a fight on the basketball court, which is still pretty embarrassing considering the guy who got fouled made the call and not someone watching from afar.
That guy is going to have to find a new league and maybe even some new friends after that brutal move.
