In school you are taught not to use Wikipedia as a source. This is because the information highway is subject to change, exaggeration, and just straight up dishonesty. While we can all agree that it is at least MOSTLY correct (and who can really say they’ve never used it before?), it’s certainly been known to dupe people from time to time.

One thing that Wikipedia can definitely be the source of? Jokes.

Its policy of letting the casual internet user make revisions to pages has certainly been the cause of a lot of laughs, and on Saturday Andrew Hammond’s page to a humorous turn following his 44-save domination during Game 5 of the Colorado Avalanche’s first round matchup against the Nashville Predators.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen changes made to an athlete’s Wikipedia page. Just over a month ago Anthony Tolliver’s page took a hit after fans kept editing it following a DeMar DeRozan posterization.

Hammond’s page has since been restored to its original state, but that may change if some more cheeky Avs’ fans are looking to rub a little more salt in the wound.
