Tanner Pearson thanked the Kings and fans in heartfelt Instagram post after being traded

On Wednesday, the Penguins shook things up by trading Carl Hagelin to the Los Angeles Kings for Tanner Pearson.

As per @bobmckenzietsn and @ddreger2016, Tanner Pearson has been traded to the #Penguins for Carl Hagelin. . Thoughts? 🤔

Pearson is just 26-years-old and won a Stanley Cup with the Kings in 2014, but he's struggled this season with just one point in the first 17 games. In fairness to him, the Kings have struggled mightily this season as well and a change of scenery might be good for him.

Once the trade was made official, Pearson took to Instagram to thank the Kings and the fans in a heartfelt post.

I would like to thank everyone in the LA Kings organization past and present for the past 6 years. Management, coach’s, trainers, equipment staff, PR team and finally the fans, you’ve all done a lot for me so thank you. Most of all I want to thank my teammates for the great friendships and memories I will never forget and good luck the rest of the way! @lakings

Getting traded is never easy, but we're sure Pearson is up for the new challenge and as you can see, he's thankful for his time in Los Angeles and will always have those memories and friendships he made.
