The Colorado Avalanche may not have the first overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, but what they do have is an incredibly funny Twitter account.
Saturday, the Avalanche entered the NHL Draft Lottery with the top odds (18%) to go home with the first overall selection in the upcoming draft. In the end Colorado were bumped down to the fourth position, and if you were to follow the Avs' Twitter account during the lottery, the whole thing went down like a Shakespearean tragedy.
Man, that hurt to watch...but at the same time it was pretty amazing. Hats off to Avs fans out there who went through a lot during the 2016-17 season only to get bitten one more time in the Draft Lottery.
And to the people/person running the Av's twitter account, keep it up. We're loving your work!
