Andrei Svechnikov stole the show in the NHL on Tuesday night with his super impressive lacrosse-style goal against the Calgary Flames.

It's not the first time we've seen someone score that way, and it certainly won't be the last. Either way, we wanted to take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the best lacrosse-style goals in hockey.

It all started with the OG himself, Mike Legg, who scored the goal of the decade in an NCAA Tournament matchup between the Michigan Wolverines and the Minnesota Gophers in 1996. A goal so profound that it earned its own name, often referred to as "The Michigan."

After witnessing that players around the world gave it a shot and there have been a lot of players who have succeeded, like Yaroslav Likhachev of the QMJHL.

Speaking of the Q, Sidney Crosby once pulled it off way back when with the Rimouski Oceanic.

Earlier in the day Canucks prospect Nils Hoglander gave it a go in the SHL and it was a major success.

WOW, vilket mål han gör! Nils ZORRO Höglander 🤤

Then there's the goal by former Barrie Colt Rob Hisey, who pulled off a fancy 360-degree lacrosse-style goal.

Hisey was a master at the trick. Here he is again replicating the famous goal by Mike Legg.

Mikael Granlund once pulled it off at the IIHF Worlds against Team Canada.

Hopefully some more NHL players give this a shot this season. If you have any more, let us know!
