It's been a strange season for the Chicago Blackhawks.  Joel Quenneville, who won three Stanley Cups with Chicago, was fired and things haven't got better since then.

The Blackhawks are tied for last place in the NHL with the Kings and could miss the playoffs for back-to-back seasons.  Sunday night, the team hit a new low against the Canadiens as they failed to capitalize on the absurd number of penalties Montreal took.

Montreal took 7 penalties (one double-minor) in the game and Chicago still lost 3-2. The Blackhawks did score one power play goal, but they are still a league-worst 11.6% with the extra man.

Safe to say fans are frustrated with the lack of success on the power play and we're sure the players are, too.
