For the first time since late February, the Buffalo Sabres are back in the win column. In that stretch, they failed to gain two points in the standings in 18 consecutive games, tying the longest winless streak in the Salary Cap Era.

The awful streak was capped by a crushing 4-3 overtime loss in which the Sabres led the Flyers 3-0 heading into the 3rd period on Monday.

The Sabres took another 3-goal lead into the 3rd on Wednesday, but this time they finished. In fact, they scored two more goals to win 6-1 over Philly.

Everyone was losing it!
