Well, here’s a sight that might take a while to get used to. In a summer of upheaval around the NBA, the Clippers might have had as good an offseason as anybody by coming away with a pair of Los Angeles natives, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
Billboards went up across from the Staples Center featuring Kawhi and PG in their new threads, welcoming them home to L.A.
It’s going to be a battle for face time between these two and their Lakers rivals across the hall, but basketball fans in Los Angeles certainly have a lot to look forward to. How exciting is it to have two homegrown talents return to the city they came up in?
Of course, this may leave a bitter taste in the mouths of some fans in Toronto, but even in Los Angeles, Kawhi continues to rep the Raptors’ colours by appearing at the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards in the Championship Pack New Balances.
