Hockey players are the toughest athletes in the world in our opinion because they do whatever it takes to help their team win.  Everything includes blocking shots with any body part and not worrying about the consequences.

Sacrificing the body to block shots can lead to some scary injuries and Saturday night in Montreal, that's exactly what happened.  During the second period of the Canadiens and Bruins game, Phillip Danault took a Zdeno Chara slapshot to the head.

It was a scary scene to say the least, but thankfully the latest update from the team was a lot more positive.
Speaking of positive, the hockey world was sending positive messages and showing an incredible amount of support for Danault.
We hope Danault makes a speedy recovery and wish him all the best.
