The Carolina Hurricanes know how to have a good time. Their Storm Surge celebration has taken many forms over the course of the season, and we have a hard time picking a best of the lot.

Their latest, though, has to be a contender. After their 3-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers, the team cleared out for Warren Foegele as he mocked an at-bat and knocked one out of the park.

The Storm Surge has proven controversial among hockey fans, but it sure seems to be fun for the team, and it’s certainly creative. With their play of late, the Hurricanes certainly have plenty of reason to celebrate — they’ve won 15 of their last 21 games, storming their way within reach of the final wildcard spot in the East.

At this rate, there are going to be plenty more Storm Surges to come. We think they should do more crossovers with other sports, like this one, or their fantastic bowling celly.
