The Maple Leafs made their annual visit to spread holiday cheer at SickKids

Every year, the Toronto Maple Leafs drop in on the patients at the SickKids hospital in Toronto to spread some holiday cheer.

The team, joined by their significant others, made their annual visit earlier this week, and it looks like it was an absolutely special time for the kids.

It’s always cool to see athletes supporting worthwhile causes in the community, and the Leafs have maintained close ties with SickKids over the years.

Auston Matthews also borrowed Ryan Reynolds' infamous ugly Christmas sweater for the occasion, in order to boost Reynolds' own fundraiser for SickKids. (The actor is matching all donations through Christmas Eve!)
