It’s considered one of the most memorable moments from any all-star games in any sport.
During the 1997 NHL All-Star Game in San Jose, Sharks power forward Owen Nolan walked in on Dominik Hasek, pointed to Hasek’s glove side, and eventually roofed one on Hasek, for his hat trick goal.
The 2019 All-Star Game will be making its return to the Bay Area. The Sharks released their promotional night schedule for the upcoming season and one of the giveaways will include a special Owen Nolan bobblehead with Nolan calling his shot on Hasek that’ll be given out on January 5.
Four other bobbleheads will also be given out throughout the season, including Joonas Donskoi as the godfather, Evander Kane holding his pet Chihuahua and a dapper looking Tomas Hertl wearing a holiday suit, Martin Jones featured as a superhero. Two special jersey nights that will honour Hispanic heritage with a custom tribute jersey, as well as a Sharks and Warriors night which fans will a receive a mashup jersey of the two clubs.
