Before their game this past weekend, the University of New Hampshire women’s hockey team decided to make a stand against injustice by kneeling during the anthem before they faced off against Boston College.

It is awesome to see this movement generate steam in the hockey world. We saw the NHL do something similar with Matt Dumba kneeling while being joined by Darnell Nurse and Malcolm Subban during the playoffs.

Other members in the NHL also shared words about supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
