The Golden State Warriors are in a familiar position – Western Conference Champions battling for the NBA Championship. The unfamiliar part is that they’re not playing the Cleveland Cavaliers. Instead of LeBron and his squad, they’re up against the feisty Toronto Raptors.

And they’re down 2-1 in the series.

While most know that that kind of deficit is far from a sure bet against the Golden State Warriors. Game 4 goes in the vaunted Oracle Arena, a building that Golden State plays very well in, and it could easily be a 2-2 series when it’s all said and done on Friday.

With Golden State moving to a new arena in San Francisco, a change in their expiring arena is raising some eyebrows. With only two possible games left in the arena (maybe even just one if the Raps win the next two games), people were surprised to see “The Town” design appear at centre court.

The Warriors have used “The Town” logo at centre court before, but it was different.

Many are wondering why the heck they would bother putting a whole new logo down at centre court. Superstition, perhaps?

Maybe they can transfer the wood to the new arena is San Francisco, but the Raps and Warriors should go down as the only teams to play on that logo in the current Warriors arena.
