It’s always a treat when hockey fans are presented with a unique jersey concept, and it’s especially fun to critique them when they embody two different sports.

The NFL is in its offseason but an artist decided to have some fun by giving the Pittsburgh Steelers its very own concept hockey jerseys. With the team’s quarterback on the back, the artist used the city’s iconic black and yellow colour pattern to produce two different hockey uniforms.

The notable differences between the two are in the pants and shoulders, with the latter including the recognizable yellow on it while the former is primarily black. Apart from that they look similar to that of the Penguins’ and somewhat resemble the Boston Bruins’.

This is the most adorable costume at the game, hands down.

The Steelers are just one of numerous football teams to have received a hockey makeover. In January, concept jersey designer Jason Ethier gave a hockey twist to the CFL’s nine uniforms.

If you’re looking for a new beer league jersey and happen to be a big Steelers fan, these ones might do the trick. If not, this beauty could be a better option.
