If you're one of the greatest players of all-time in your sport, chances are you'll probably make an appearance on a late night talk show a few times.
Wayne Gretzky is one of those players that appeared on late night talk shows during his career and after his career, and this amazing 'Late Night Montage' of The Great One proves each appearance had something in common.
One name was brought up in those interviews, Gordie Howe.
The Great One has said in the past that Howe was the greatest player ever, not him, and Mr. Hockey was Gretzky's hero growing up, as he's explained multiple times.
It's really surreal to simply listen to Gretzky talk about what an incredible human being Howe was. His memory and spirit lives on in Gretzky and every player that idolized him growing up, and it will live on forever.
