Alex Ovechkin is proving to be quite the loving father.
From what we’ve seen through social media, the greatest goal-scorer of his generation is proving to grow quite the bond with his son, Sergei. Alex and his wife Anastasia gave birth to little Sergei in 2018 and in less than two years, he’s already demonstrating a love for hockey. Anastasia posted a video of the youngster holding a hockey stick with his dad on her Instagram story and it didn’t take long for the two to hit the ice together.

Anastasia has never shied away from showing the world who her husband’s number one fan is. Just look at the little dude’s reaction as he watched his dad on the big screen. Sergei was fired up!!!!
Look out everyone, because if this toddler turns out to be anything like his dad then we might have another elite goal-scorer on our hands in 2040.
