Hockey talk is a language of its own.

Duh, we even made a whole dictionary for it!

We’re big fans of obscure hockey terms, and we’re always willing to learn a new one. Like all languages, there’s consistently slang and new terms that come up in the hockey world as time goes on and the sport evolves. Today, when the Habs’ Tomas Tatar was talking about off-season acquisition Josh Anderson, he dropped a term we’ve never heard before that we think is the ultimate hockey adjective.

Not a workhorse, not a powerhouse, but a POWERHORSE!

This is definitely a term we’re banking for future use, and although we’re not sure if he came up with this, or if he heard it before, or if it just came out of his mouth in that moment, we’re giving Tatar full credit for powerhorse.
