The first half of the CFL Eastern Final was all the Toronto Argonauts, the Saskatchewan Roughriders didn’t go down without a fight and made it a very interesting game in the second half.

Saskatchewan scored the first three points of the game but ended up trailing 17-3 at halftime. Come the second half they looked like an entirely different team as they went on to outscore the Argos 18-8 in the second half, which included a very late touchdown that gave them their first lead since the opening minutes of the game.

After it looked like the Argonauts were going to advance all afternoon long, for split second that all changed once the Roughriders took the lead late in the game. However, that changed once again late in the game as the Argos took the lead back with 23 seconds left.

Considering the final minutes of the game was like being in a glass case of emotion, fans couldn’t believe how crazy the ending of the game ended up being.

The Toronto Argonauts will play the winner of the West Final between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Calgary Stampeders.
