It was an injury-riddled 2017 postseason for Pittsburgh Penguins forward Carl Hagelin, but at the end of it all, he won his second championship in as many years.

Back to Back: The #Penguins score late to capture their second straight #StanleyCup

As is tradition, every player from the winning team gets a day with the cup, and the Swede made the most of his recent date with it. Recently, Hagelin celebrated ‘Kraftskiva’, a traditional summertime eating and drinking celebration in the Nordic countries which originated in Sweden. In English, it is known as a ‘crayfish party’. In honour of the big day, the 28-year-old posted a hilarious picture of himself with the cup while rocking a lobster-themed bib and hat.

To top things off, he even lit a candle. What a stud!

Hagelin hasn’t been the only Penguin to share a meal with Lord Stanley’s trophy, as Chris Kunitz and his family recently chowed down on what appeared to be Lucky Charms from the top.

Players are continuing to get more and more creative with how they celebrate their day of glory, but Hagelin’s is definitely up there with the funniest.
