The KHL is down to its final two teams as Metallurg Mg and SKA Saint Petersburg are playing for the Gagarin Cup.

The championship series got underway on Saturday, and there was plenty of scoring between the two teams.

With the game all tied up at 3 late in the game, SKA got a power play and took advantage of their opportunity. However, if you blinked, you probably missed it.

Former Los Angeles Kings prospect Patrik Hersley fired a massive slap shot right through the net for his 6th goal of the postseason. Not bad considering he had 5 goals during the regular season.

Hopefully they had some scotch tape on hand to fix the hole in the net after the goal.

SKA went on to score another goal shortly after, and it’s a good thing they did because Metallurg ended up getting a late one. SKA now leads the championship series 1-0.
