The Sens found themselves down 3-1 heading to the final frame after allowing three goals in the second period, which included a shorthanded goal. However, Ottawa came out flying in the third period and managed to put together two quick goals in a 2:20 span to force overtime.

In the extra frame, Dion Phaneuf ended the game with his first of the postseason to give the Sens some new life in the postseason. With Ottawa putting together a huge comeback victory on home ice, you can bet fans in the Nation’s Capital were loving it.
