Emojis have become such a big part of our daily lives because they can be used in almost every and any scenario.

In fact, thanks to emojis, we can form sentences without any words in them on social media or in texts and the message we're trying to send is crystal clear.

Wednesday night on the red carpet at the ESPYS, emojis took centre stage as Cabbie and Nik Stauskas had a number of athletes (P.K. Subban, Mark Giordano, Troy Daniels) make emoji sentences and reveal which emojis can and can't be used in the team group chat.

Plus, Aaron Rodgers crashed the "Chill Zone" a couple of times and because it's so hot in Los Angeles, Cabbie and Nik gave out some freezies so the athletes at the ESPYS could keep cool.

Last year on the red carpet at the ESPYS, Cabbie and Nik had refreshments, too, but they were in the form of ice cream.

Clearly the athletes at the ESPYS know their emojis and which ones to use in different situations, and that's an important skill in this day and age that can't be overlooked.

Another important skill in this day and age is being able to have fun, and the athletes at the ESPYS carried over all the fun they had on the red carpet to the actual show.
