The Stanley Cup makes us do crazy things, and we wouldn't have it any other way because there's nothing in this world like joining in on your favourite team's emotional journey to the Cup.

In our opinion, it's the greatest trophy in sports, and it takes so much from the players, coaches and fans to win it.

Yes, when playoff hockey comes around, the impact fans can have is magnified.  Teams grind through the regular season to have that home-ice advantage in the playoffs, and that's where the fans come in.

If you dismiss that fans can have an impact, though, we've got the perfect example to change your mind.

The Calgary Flames haven't won a road game against the Ducks since February 1st of 2004, and after the team's latest loss to Anaheim, the fans let them have it with an epic chant.

Now, heading into the Ducks and Flames first round series, all anyone is talking about is if the Flames can win a road game.

Of course, you don't have to be at the game to have an impact.  Showing your support and cheering on your time from home is more than enough, and this Leafs fan's house is the perfect example of this.

For the cup.

The reason behind the decked out house, you ask?  Because it's the Cup.

Honestly, you won't see a better Maple Leafs-themed house than that one, but we encourage fans to try and top it, all the while supporting their team.

We also encourage fans of all teams to join their favourite players by growing out playoff beards because that's probably the best tradition in sports.
