Lolo Sanchez is currently ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ organization, but he looked like one of the team’s top prospects on a play during the Pirates’ most recent spring training game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

With the Pirates trailing 6-1 in the bottom of the 6th inning, the 18-year-old helped give his team a little momentum as he made a super impressive play by stealing home with a right handed pitcher on the mound.

Sanchez caught Phillies right-handed pitcher Edubray Ramos completely off-guard and ended up forcing the 25-year-old pitcher to throw a wild pitch in an attempt to get the Pirates prospect out at home.

Sanchez probably won’t get any action with the MLB club this season, but he certainly helped make his name a little more well known throughout the league with that heads-up base running.
