The Vancouver Canucks will have a huge emotional hole in their team next year and itโ€™s going to be a tough year for their fans.

Regardless of how the team performs, the Sedins have been a huge part of the team for so long and a joy to watch on the ice. The always had that twin connection that seemed to offer them perfect chemistry. They did everything together and their brilliance was appreciated even more because of it.

That ability might not be missing from the NHL for long though, because there could be a second coming of Swedish twins.

The 2019 draft is being held in Vancouver and fans are already calling for the team to draft the two twins with the Sedins exiting at the end of this season.

With the draft so far out, it remains to be seen where these players will rank in the draft, but we have to imagine their similarities to the Sedins will help boost their draft stock a little bit. Itโ€™s similar to how little brothers always seem to get an extra boost in the draft due to the attention they get from their siblings performance before them.

They have another connection to the Sedins as well โ€“ they also where double numbers 44 and 55.

With all of that said, youโ€™re going to need a lot more skill than just being Swedish twins to replicate anything close to what the Sedins have in their career. Still, the opportunity for Canucks seems too good to be true.
