It’s the most wonderful time of the year as 16 of the NHL’s best teams battle in the playoffs with all of their sights set on the Stanley Cup.
Not everyone gets to taste the glory that comes with being a Stanley Cup champion and it’s an experience that only some hockey fans will ever get to experience during their lifetime, so when their team finally captures hockey’s most prized possession, they want to make sure it’s part of them forever. As a result, some fans go all out when their favourite team wins it all and gets some sort of Stanley Cup related tattooed on them.
And, of course, there are always the fans who jump the gun and get a champions tattoo before it even happens and get stuck with a tattoo of something they never happened.
