The hockey world was absolutely shook when the Vegas Golden Knights traded reigning Vezina Trophy recipient to the Chicago Blackhawks for… nothing. The move was one to establish Robin Lehner – who they paid a lot of money to last offseason – as the clear starter moving forwards.
Still, it was shocking to see Fleury shipped out of town for nothing. Whether it’s a salary dump or not, could they really not get anything back for him?
Anyway, the critics came back out in full force when a video surfaced of Flower flashing his world class skills. While training in Quebec, Fleury made a series of saves that had the shooters stick tapping, along with the rest of the hockey world.
