Things are starting to get a little too rowdy in Boston.

The team is fresh off of yet another championship and as is tradition, the entire city flooded the streets for a massive parade. Moods were high all day and things seemed to be going swell until a couple of fans took things too far by launching their beer cans in the direction of the team. One of the throwers nailed manager Alex Cora while the other unthinkably hit the World Series trophy and actually broke it. You’ve really got to see this to believe it.

That’s about as dumb as it gets!

Aside from the break, the parade featured some pretty fantastic moments. Alex Cora gave fans a speech to remember when he left them with a nice little burn on their rival New York Yankees.

And things got cranked up a notch when Boston’s sign kid was back in action with another banger. This one probably infuriated a ton of New Yorkers!

The sad thing is that this isn’t even the first pro trophy to be damaged this year. The Washington Capitals may or may not have left a little dent in the Stanley Cup over the summer…

C’mon people, these things should be treated like royalty. NO MORE DAMAGE!!!!

(H/T FTW)
