Canadians are ecstatic after speed skater Ted-Jan Bloemen captured a silver medal with a time of 6:11.616 in the Men’s 5,000 meter event at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Of course, not everyone can make it to the podium, a lesson New Zealand skater Peter Michael learnt the hard way. Michael’s time of 6:14.07 was three seconds behind Norwegian bronze medal winner Sverre Lunde Pedersen’s, so he’ll have to wait until the next Olympic Games to place in the top three. What stood out the most about Michael at the event, though, was his truly unique haircut. Following the competition, TSN’s Matthew Scianitti got a perfect shot of the athlete and his unbelievable mullet.

Going to go out on a limb and declare that the best flow of the 2018 Olympic Games.

Michael’s haircut competes with some of the better ones we’ve seen in sports. We’ll let you decide whose stands as the best.

You’ve got to give Michael some credit for rocking the new hairdo. These athletes rocked their own primarily in front of North American audiences, but to have one on a global stage like the Olympics truly takes guts.

Where does this mullet rank among the one’s you’ve seen before?
