Another week of Dana White’s Contender Series has come and gone and what a week it was.
On Tuesday night, featherweight Aalon Cruz went up against Steven Nguyen and they were less than 30 seconds away from going the distance but that’s when Cruz put an end to the bout with one of the most vicious flying knees we’ve ever seen.
Cruz’s knockout blow made everyone’s jaw drop, including UFC president Dana White, who signed the 29-year-old to a contract after it was all said and done.
That wasn’t the only wild finish of the night as Aleksa Camur landed himself a UFC contract in the next fight by landing a massive flying knee of his own.
