It’s easy to win over the love from New York Yankees fans but Aaron Judge managed to do that before playing a full season with the club.

The 6-foot-7 outfielder took the league by storm in his first full season by clobbering 52 home runs and 114 RBI to go along with a .284 batting average and a .422 OBP. While he did happen to take a step back last season due to injuries, the love for Judge among Yankees fans only increases with each passing day.

On Saturday afternoon, the 27-year-old helped lead the Yankees to a 4-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox with his 4th home run of the season and he shared a special moment with the young fan who caught his home run ball the very next inning.

As Judge took his position in the outfield and prepared to the following inning to get underway, the young fan who caught the home run ball shouted out to Judge to see if he would sign the ball for him. While it sounds like an unusual request to make in the middle of the game, it didn’t seem to bug Judge as he signed the baseball and took part in a game of catch with the young man.
