One of the more anticipated releases of the next little while is this year’s set of reverse retro jerseys in the NHL. We’re expecting some of history’s greatest jerseys to get a little new life breathed back into them, and guessing which ones exactly has been half of the fun.
While we continue to wait, adidas Hockey released an animated teaser for each team’s jersey, with the jersey number on each seeming to indicate the year that the retro will be from.
A couple of these rumoured retro jerseys have been leaked online already, and we’re definitely hyped for the official release.
From some of these different leaks, it seems like the Anaheim Ducks are expected to lean into their glorious cartoon history, while the Vegas Golden Knights — without much history of their own yet — will dig up the IHL’s Las Vegas Thunder 1990s jerseys from the vault.
