Ever since CM Punk left WWE in 2014, wrestling fans have chanted his name during shows as if to let him know they still love him and are hoping he makes a return to the ring.
While that doesn't seem likely based on how Punk left, we've seen crazier things, and one of those crazy things happened Monday night after Raw went off the air.
Once the show ended, The Rock took the ring to shoot stuff for the movie he's making about Paige, and while he was in the ring, "CM Punk" chants broke out from the crowd.
Rather than ignoring them, The Rock did something that surprised everyone watching, he called Punk and left him a message.
If you're wondering if Punk got the message, it looks like he got it loud and clear.
Punk also provided fans with a reason as to why he didn't answer the call.
Monday night was the closest Punk has been to a WWE ring since leaving, and the fact that he even acknowledged the chant will make fans continue to hope for a return.
