We all know how important it is to be environmentally friendly nowadays, and it’s always great to see our favourite brands do their part in ensuring a cleaner, greener future.

As a league that is only able to operate when they’re using enough power to keep ice surfaces intact, the NHL definitely has a lot of action to take when it comes to climate responsibility. The league has had several neat green initiatives, and most recently, the NHL has announced that all 32 teams will be rocking the Adidas ADIZERO Primegreen jerseys which are made from a minimum of 50% recycled contents.

Not only are they environmentally conscious, they also look pretty darn sharp!

This initiative is all apart of Adidas and the NHL’s plan to help end plastic waste and reuse plastics.

Love to see our favourite leagues doing their part for the environment!
