The future is extremely bright for Canadian soccer and Alphonso Davies is helping to lead the charge.  The 18-year-old had 8 goals and 10 assists this past season for the Vancouver Whitecaps before transferring to Bayern Munich.

To be just 18-years-old and playing for one of the best club teams in the world is absolutely insane, but Davies' ability on the pitch and hard work off of it has earned him all of the success he's had in his career thus far.

The transfer and overall adjustment will come with challenges, though, one of which is learning a new language (or at least learning enough to get by).  With that in mind, Red Bull Canada put him to the test and helped him brush up on his German.

He's got all the soccer terms down and that's a great start.  Language barrier aside, getting accustomed to the style of play in Germany is going to also take some time, but so far so good for Davies from what we've seen.
