Anaheim Ducks general manager Bob Murray continued to wheel and deal on Wednesday night in hopes of turning around the team's recent misfortunes.

After acquiring Devin Shore from the Dallas Stars for veteran centre Andrew Cogliano on Monday, Murray made a trio of trades.

.

Former Maple Leafs first-rounder Luke Schenn, who'd been playing in the American Hockey League with the Ducks affiliate, the San Diego Gulls, is leaving the hottest team in the AHL to join the Utica Comets.

The Gulls are at the complete opposite end of the spectrum of the Ducks, having extended their point streak to 15 games after shooting down the Texas Stars 2-1 on Wednesday night. The Ducks losing streak sits at 12 games -- a franchise high -- with a 0-8-4 record. San Diego meanwhile, sits 12-0-1-2 over their last 15 games.

Before Wednesday's deals, Murray announced that the big club had recalled two of the clubs top four point producers in Troy Terry and Max Jones to give the Ducks an injection of youthful exuberance.

With the abundance of new bodies on the roster, the Ducks' lineup could look drastically different when they look to snap their losing streak on Thursday night in Minnesota and provide a much-needed spark to lift the team back into a Wild Card spot.
