Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson can mark down August 4, 2018, as easily one of the greatest days of his life.

It’s every hockey player’s dream to one day sign a multi-million dollar contract with a team, and the 25-year-old did just that earlier today after the team announced they have locked up Gibson to the tune of an 8-year, $52.1 million contract. Not a bad haul for the youngster!

That in itself merits the day to be his most memorable in history, but wait! There’s more. Turns out the American is also getting hitched today, signing the second of two extremely significant contracts.
