Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valanciunas has attempted exactly four regular season three-pointers in his career, one of which he has made. Andre Drummond must have known that, because he didn't even attempt to guard him on a three ball.
Tuesday, the Raptors faced the Pistons in preseason action at the ACC. During the second quarter, Valanciunas caught a rebound out by the three-point line and decided to chuck up a three. Drummond, who was guarding Valanciunas didn't even bother to run over to contest the shot, instead electing to just wave it off with a hand gesture that suggested that he was completely certain that the Raptors centre wasn't going to make the shot.
Now that's peak preseason basketball defence. We guess Drummond wasn't wrong, so no harm, no foul, right? That's the kind of thing you expect to see during a Thursday night game at your local YMCA.
