Sitting with 54 points in the Eastern Conference standings, the Florida Panthers find themselves on the outside of the playoff race with an eleven gap between the second wild-card position currently occupied by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Florida was unable to add to their point total on Tuesday night, as they were blanked 3-0 at home to the Dallas Stars. Filling in for injured starter Ben Bishop for the third straight game was back-up goaltender Anton Khudobin, who won for only the second time in his last six appearances with a 30-save performance.

The Stars were outshot 30-19, and following the game, reporters caught up with the Stars' netminder and asked if the atmosphere inside the BB&T Center had any bearing on the win.

Pictures circulated  on Twitter of the Panthers' attendance, or lack thereof.

According to ESPN, the Panthers rank 30th in the league with an average of 13,167 fans per game. On the road, the Stars are drawing the third least amount of fans were game with 16,717.
