We’ve still got almost a month of Spring Training to go and we’ve already seen the Houston Astros get plunked seven times. We can’t say anything for sure, but we’re guessing it’s not a coincidence.

Since the Houston Astros’ sign-stealing scandal was exposed to the baseball world, the team has been under attack. Fans, analysts, and other players around the league have all taken heavy shots at the Astros, and many believe they should even be stripped of their 2017 World Series title.

With the ‘Stros avoiding the title strip, some pitchers are taking matters into their own hands. And those matters are baseballs, apparently.

Now touted as the undisputed league villains, the Astros are taking it on the chin. While they may put on like it’s not bothering them, there’s definitely a little extra emotion involved. It certainly seemed like George Springer was feeling a little extra pep in his step when he stepped to the plate and attempted to hit a ball to the moon.

Unfortunately for the outfielder’s ego, he missed the ball and ended up knocking himself off balance and into the dirt.

Do you think the crowd liked that one? Springer didn’t just take a knee, he almost ended up falling over completely by the looks of it.

We’re guessing this is going to last all season long. Buckle up.
