Hockey players are a different breed when it comes to playing while injured.

During the Leafs 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday, Matthews had to skip a face off due to his wrist acting up. Of course, that didn't stop him from grabbing two assists on William Nylander's goals. Following the game, Leafs reporter Kristen Shilton tweeted that Matthews has been playing with an injury basically all season!

Auston Matthews has been leading the NHL in goals with a bad wrist. It’s hard to believe, we know. Especially when you look at what Matthews has done so far this year. The Leafs star started this season on fire with 18 goals in 20 games. Let’s not forget about the 13 assists too.

50 goals in 50 games is looking pretty attainable!
