Auston Matthews is known for his wicked shot, his fashion sense, his friendship with Justin Bieber, and a number of other things. Up until December 1st, 2021, you could include his signature mustache as well.
But the ‘stache is NO MORE.
If you’re currently in mourning about the loss of Auston’s facial hair, you should know that it was at least for a good cause. Towards the end of October, Matthews announced that he would be running a very unique Movember campaign. Instead of growing out a mustache, which is most people’s experience with Movember, he set a monetary goal in which he would shave his off if reached.
It only took about 20 days for Matthews’ campaign to reach the $134,000 goal.
As soon as the calendar turned to December, Matthews followed through on the promise. In a video posted by the official Movember account, you can see Matthews finally having the mustache removed from his face.
Now that we’ve seen the side by side, one question remains…
